Switzerland supports President Hosni Mubarak's initiative to arrange an international convention to fight international terrorism, the Swiss ambassador in Egypt has told MENA. In the interview the ambassador Raimond Kunz said his country backs the Egyptian moderate and realistic policy vis-a-vis the peace process in the Middle East region. Switzerland believes in the Geneva fourth convention, which should be applied to all lands, occupied by Israel, he said, adding that setting up of Israeli settlements on Palestinian lands violates this fourth convention.
Kunz added Switzerland is specially interested in developing economic cooperation with Egypt, adding that there are 120 investment firms working in Egypt at present. (Albawaba.com)
