Press: Six Killed, three Injured in Latest Violence in Algeria

Six people were killed and three others were injured in the latest violence that took place in southern and eastern parts of Algeria, reported Kuwait’s official news agency (KUNA), citing local press on Wednesday. 

Al-Khabar and Le Matin newspapers said that four civilians were killed by Islamic extremists in Midia province, 80 kilometers south of Algiers.  

The newspapers added that extremists destroyed a house, injuring the father and two of his sons, and killing his daughter. 

The extremists also kidnapped his wife.  

In another incident, Islamic extremists killed a man and his two sons when they stormed their house – Albawaba.com
