Promethean, Confirmed World Leader in Learner Response Systems, to demonstrate its Market-leading Solutions at GESS 2010

Promethean, a world leader in the rapidly growing global market for interactive learning technology, today announced that recent research* has confirmed that it is the world’s number one provider of Learner Response Systems (LRS) in the K-12 world education market  . At its stand (G30) at this week’s GESS (Gulf Educational Supplies & Solutions) 2010 show, which runs from 23 to 25 February at Dubai Airport Expo, visitors will be able to use the ActiVote and ActivExpression LRS devices that form an integral part of Promethean’s ActivClassroom with Self-Paced Learning.
Promethean held a 35.1% share of the LRS (Learner Response Systems) education market in 2009, making it the world leader, increasing from 30.7% share in 2008.

ActivExpression is available in seven languages, and the ActivClassroom at the Promethean stand (G30) at GESS 2010 will be simultaneously demonstrated in Arabic and English. Promethean recently introduced Arabic character recognition to the ActivClassroom suite, as well as launching the Arabic-language version of Promethean Planet, the world’s fastest-growing interactive whiteboard community – empowering teachers around in the region to better address the needs of modern day students.
