Qatar’s Minister of Energy and Industry Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah left Friday for the United States for a week-long visit for talks with US officials on boosting ties in the fields of energy and oil, reported the official Qatar news agency (QNA).
The minister told QNA upon departure that during the visit he would meet US Energy Secretary Abraham Spencer and other senior energy officials to discuss co-operation between the two countries in the oil and gas sectors.
He added that he would also meet various congresspeople to discuss oil and gas sector cooperation – Albawaba.com
