Qatar Tourism Authority and Q.media Events held a joint press conference today to reveal a preview of the Qatar Motor Show - the first motor show in Qatar held on such international standards.
Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Qatar Motor Show will be organized by Qatar Tourism Authority in partnership with Q.media Events and GL Events, one of the leading international names in organizing events, and well known on the global motor show scene. The show will take place from January 26-29, 2011 at the Doha Exhibitions Center.

The show will kick off with an international convention, featuring top figures in the automotive scene leading discussions about current topics such as environmentally-friendly cars and future t trends in the industry. A special area will be reserved for the premier worldwide appearance of concept cars, super cars and futuristic models from the most renowned style centers and car manufacturers. The show will also provide a platform for the latest car models, commercial vehicles and sports utility vehicles coming on the market.
The open landscape surrounding the Doha Exhibitions Center will be transformed to serve as demonstration areas for off-roading, freestyle, motor cross and drifting courses as well as test driving sessions of the latest car and SUV models. Spectators will also be able to enjoy professional driving tips with demos from leading experts.
The Qatar Motor Show differentiates itself from other auto shows in the region by offering a truly immersive, hands-on, and interactive experience. The inaugural Qatar Motor Show will not be a simple auto show, but rather a comprehensive series of glamorous and dynamic events that will exhilarate audiences young and old.
