Qatar, UAE Sign Gas Agreement

Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed in Doha on Wednesday an agreement worth 3.5 billion US dollars for carrying Qatari gas to the UAE, reported Saudi News Agency (SPA). 

The agreement was signed by Abdullah al-Atiyyah, the Qatari minister of oil and Ahmed al-Sayegh, a member of the office of the UAE council for exchange programs. 

According to the agreement, the Dolphin Company will develop part of the giant north offshore field in Qatari waters to raise its productivity to approximately 2 billion cubic feet of gas per day, said the agency – Albawaba.com
