ALBAWABA - A helicopter crash in Qatar’s territorial waters killed six people, and rescue workers are still operating to find the last missing person, Qatar's interior ministry announced Sunday.
Earlier, Qatar's defense ministry said the helicopter had crashed after suffering a technical malfunction during "routine duty".
The defense ministry said in a statement, "The Ministry of Defense of State of Qatar announces that a Qatari helicopter had technical malfunction during a routine duty, which led to its crash in the regional waters of the State, Searching operation for its crew members and passengers is in progress."
