Qatari Emir Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani left Doha Tuesday for Damascus on the first leg of a tour that will also take him to Egypt and Lebanon, the official QNA news agency reported.
Sheikh Hamad will discuss the Middle East peace process as well as prospects for cooperation with the leaders of the three countries, said a statement carried by QNA - DOHA (AFP)
