Quake Hits Southwestern Iran

An earthquake measuring 4.1 degrees on the open-ended Richter scale shook the city of Ahvaz in the southwestern Iran on Sunday, reported the official Iranian news agency (IRNA).  

The seismological base of the Geophysics institute of Tehran  

University registered the epicenter of the quake somewhere in the northwest of the city of Ahvaz.  

No report has yet been received on possible damage inflicted by the quake, said the agency -- Albawaba.com
