The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) congratulated the Palestinian people and the Muslim nation on Friday at the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
In its statement, Hamas called those who have deviated from the Islamic teaching and those who have become collaborators serving the Israeli occupation to repent during this month.
The statement also called for Palestinian and Muslim unity to face an enemy which has always tried to "sow seeds of discord between brothers," adding that the holy month carries with it the glad tidings of victory.
According to PIC, the statement commended the people of Jabalya for their steadfastness in facing the ongoing onslaught. (albawaba.com)
