Egyptian exports to Saudi Arabia soared to $27 million in the first quarter of 2001, reported the official Saudi News Agency (SPA) on Wednesday.
The agency quoted a report received by the Egyptian minister of economy as indicating that the value of the Arab African state's exports to the kingdom from January to May of this year amounted to $26,859,000.
The exports included concrete iron, medicines, onions and carpet products, said the agency report, without giving previous years' figures – Albawaba.com
