The Palestinian ministry of environmental affairs has accused Israel of waging a secret war against Palestinians, according to a press release faxed to Albawaba.com
“The war against environment,” which the statement referred to “ contributed to and initiated some environmental disasters in the coastal region, promoted land erosion and habitat loss, caused solid and medical waste accumulation and helped diminish biodiversity.”
According to other Albawaba sources, Israeli forces have uprooted hundreds of trees and killed hundreds of live stock for unknown reasons ever since the beginning of Al Aqsa Intifada.
The statement issued by the Ministry also said that "Palestinian men, women and children are being victimized through all sorts of unjustified cruelties against their economic welfare, social stability, environmental assets and their basic human right to, simply, live," the report added.
The ministry strongly condemned the siege on the West bank and Gaza Strip and called upon the international community that witnessed and continues to witness the brutality of the Israelis troops and settlers against the unarmed children of Palestine to force Israel to AWOL its horrible military, political and environmental wars waged – Albawaba.com
