The Israeli Haaretz newspaper reported that an Arab-Israeli man, not a Jewish settler as reported earlier, was killed in a drive-by shooting in the West Bank.
The paper said that an Arab with Israeli citizenship was killed late Tuesday morning in a shooting attack east of Qalqilyah in the West Bank.
The Arab Israeli was killed when Palestinian gunmen fired on his vehicle as he was traveling on the road to the settlement of Alfei Menasheh.
Israeli troops are pursuing the perpetrators, said the paper.
