Israel’s Regional Cooperation Minister Shimon Peres almost fell out of a helicopter when the door of the craft opened twice during the course of a flight in northern Israel, reported the Jerusalem Post newspaper.
A bodyguard threw himself across Peres' body to keep him from falling out of the helicopter although Peres was wearing his safety belt at the time, said the report.
Peres was en route to a condolence call in the village of Hurfeish for an Israeli soldier who was killed last week in a bomb blast near the Erez crossing point in the Gaza Strip, said the paper – Albawaba.com
