Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will visit Yemen next month for talks with his counterpart, Ali Abdullah Saleh, on the conflict in the Palestinian territories, a report said Thursday.
Assad is expected to arrive in Saana in mid-September and his talks with Saleh will focus on "the situation in the occupied territories and the continuing Israeli aggression against the Palestinians," said the monthly magazine called September 26, an organ of Yemen's military -- SANAA (AFP)
