R&M Appoints New Executive Vice President for MEA region
Stephan Klein is appointmented as Executive Vice President for R&M MEA, heralding 10 years of commitment to this region and solid plans for the future
Swiss cabling specialist Reichle & De-Massari has recently appointed Stephan Klein as Executive Vice President for the Middle East & Africa region. Klein will be responsible for expanding R&M’s business and presence in this market.
Following the huge success achieved in the MEA region over the last few years, and recording 70% growth since 2006, Laurent Amestoy, Regional Managing Director, R&M Middle East and India has been promoted to Executive Vice President for Asia Pacific where he will continue to develop R&M’s business.

R&M continues to be committed to the region and its customers here and achieve ongoing success,” said Stephan Klein, Executive Vice President, Middle East & Africa.
As Executive Vice President for R&M MEA, Stephan Klein will focus on overseeing and developing new business opportunities, ensuring the satisfaction of existing customers and further developing R&M partner network in the Middle East and Africa region.
Prior to this assignment Klein looked after international key account activities in R&M’s headquarters in Switzerland. In this role, Klein identified new & developed existing international key accounts for the R&M group.

Klein previously worked within the ICT department of Siemens Switzerland Ltd. and was responsible for establishing and developing a cross-functional Key Account Management Program. Later, he was invited to become a board member in the Carrier Networks department.
Boasting a strong Economics background, Klein has a Master’s degree in Economics from Zurich University, Switzerland, combined with an advanced study degree in Change Management from University of Applied Studies in Basel, Switzerland.
Recently, R&M MEA was ranked as No.10 in the ITP.Net Top 100 ranking, ‘Networking’ category (which includes all networking related vendors and not just cabling). The ITP.Net Top 100 is an annual ranking that represents top IT vendors in the region, where top 10 companies in 10 different categories are listed.
In addition, R&M has been listed among the top three preferred cabling brands for regional CIOs as a result of the exclusive end user survey that was recently concluded by CPI (one of the largest publishing houses regionally).
