The latest strategies to deal with road safety management and improvements to transport infrastructure will be highlighted during the Saudi Traffic 2004 exhibition and conference, which opens at the Hotel Intercontinental in Riyadh today (December 5).
During the four-day show leading international, regional and local experts will discuss the worsening transport crisis in Saudi Arabia and showcase solutions to reduce the number of deaths and injuries caused on the Kingdom’s roads. It is estimated that of all the deaths that occur in Saudi’s Ministry of Health hospitals, more than 80 per cent are due to road traffic accidents.
