The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, which is managed and operated by Les Roches International School for Hotel Management, Switzerland, organized a culinary competition for its students on Thursday, July 8th 2010, which was held at the academy's theatre with the attendance of the academy's instructors and administration, executive chefs, in addition to key personalities from the culinary and hospitality industry.
During the competition, which lasted for about an hour, students delivered an impressive display of culinary talents. The competing teams also enjoyed a unique ability to collaborate and coordinate different tasks and responsibilities, which allowed them to complete their creations to perfection.
"We are delighted with this competition, which brought together many prominent personalities operating Jordan's finest hotels and restaurants for a remarkable demonstration of talent," commented Tamir Shaaban, Public Relations Manager at RACA. "We are immensely proud of our students, as their spectacular performance reflected the high standards we emulate at RACA, which we hope will encourage our invitees to invest in their staff with high potential to enroll in the Academy to further, develop their culinary skills."
"I was entirely impressed with the level of professionalism and attention to detail that I witnessed during the competition," said Rabah Abu Sbeitan, Food and Beverage Director at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Amman, who also attended the competition. "The performance is a resounding testament to the quality delivered by RACA's curriculum. The Grand Hyatt Amman is currently receiving some of the academy's interns whose skills continue to impress."
