“We have had a record number of trade enquires this year from MEP Consultants and MEP Contractors, especially regarding our flagship product, the Mekar brand of Airside Equipment” said Arun Tuli, MD, Royal Gulf.

Arun Tuli feels that that keen interest in Mekar equipment points to a renewed emphasis on using top quality products in real estate projects. Increasingly, the price and prestige of any real estate project is being determined by the quality of material used, especially when it comes to cooling and ventilation systems. “They only way to enhance the quality and reliability of air-conditioning is to use high quality equipment with a proven installation base that delivers the correct performance as specified by Consultants. The shift towards chilled water air-conditioning systems with district cooling is another key factor for the spike in demand of Royal Gulf products. Tuli feels this is the reason why Chilled Water Central air-conditioning systems are fast replacing window and split A/C’s. “These are exciting times for the HVAC industry in Dubai,” said Tuli. “Real estate projects have entered a crucial phase, leading to an increased demand for quality HVAC equipment. With more projects maturing, you can expect the demand to go even higher.”
