Royal Jet Celebrates Fifth Anniversary As Global Leader in Private Aviation
Royal Jet, the award-winning international luxury flight services provider headquartered in Abu Dhabi is in final preparations to celebrate its fifth anniversary in style with an exclusive event under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Attending the event are expected to be members of the royal family and dignitaries from the Federal Government.
The Company was launched in May 2003 to deliver the finest executive flight services to the Middle East’s - and global - flourishing VIP and business aviation markets. ‘Injaz’, means ‘achievement’ in Arabic, and this event will celebrate the many achievements that Royal Jet has accomplished over the past half decade.
Royal Jet’s Chairman, H.E. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, said “The Amiri decree was signed by H.H.Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in 2003, under the supervision of H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. We would like to thank him for his continued support of Royal Jet since those early days.
“Already we have captured 16 per cent of the region’s charter market and our client portfolio includes government officials, decision makers, the business and corporate community, sporting and show business celebrities, major event organisers, high end bespoke travel providers, insurance companies, the health care sector and so on,” Sheikh Hamdan added.
“Royal Jet also works closely with the Abu Dhabi government to promote the Emirate since, naturally, the fortunes of Abu Dhabi will have a major impact on the fortunes of Royal Jet, which is why we are offering them our wholehearted support,” he concluded.
Royal Jet’s President & CEO Shane O’Hare explained that the Company has five core offerings. “In addition to our luxury VIP Aircraft Charter services, we also have a subsidiary called Royal Med which offers the best medical evacuation service in the Middle East, a Fixed Base Operations (FBO) / VIP Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport, and we also offer an aircraft management and an aircraft acquisition consultancy.
“Our service offerings, which are totally customer driven, are second to none, and it is no surprise that in recognition of our very high standards, the WTA conferred on Royal Jet the award of World’s Leading Private Jet Charter. This came just months after Royal Jet won another prestigious award - Business Jet Provider of the Year - at the Aviation Business Awards ceremony in Dubai.
“Looking back on our five year history,” O’Hare continued, “one thing remains constant: our uncompromising dedication to providing the very best to our clients in terms of service, privacy, security and luxury. They would expect nothing less.”
As part of its next five year plan, Royal Jet has already announced that it intends to double its fleet from the current 12 aircraft and to achieve a five-fold revenue by 2013.
“Last year, the number of aircraft handled at Royal Jet’s Abu Dhabi terminal grew by some 90 per cent. And in the last financial year, we contracted over 30 new charter customers. Under the leadership of H.E. Sheikh Hamdan, we are well on the way to achieving our targets,” O’Hare concluded.
