Russia on Wednesday said it was confident that the election of Republican George W. Bush as US president would not radically affect ties between Moscow and Washington.
Bilateral relations "will continue to develop on a long-term and mutually beneficial basis using our positive experience accumulated under both Democratic and Republican administrations," the Russian government press office told Interfax news agency – MOSCOW (AFP)
