The Russian defense ministry has dismissed Turkey's claims that a Russian plane violated Turkish airspace as "baseless propaganda," AFP reported.
"There has not been a single violation of Turkish airspace by Russia air force planes in Syria," ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
Ties between Moscow and Ankara reached a new low when Turkey shot down a Russian warplane it claimed had violated Turkish airspace in November 2015.
Turkey has formally summoned Russia's ambassador, with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan saying Russia would "have to face consequences if it keeps up such violations."
