The above clip captures what happened moments after the Russian ambassador to Turkey was assassinated at an art gallery in the country's capital of Ankara on Monday evening.
Andrey Karlov was shot five times in the back by a 22-year-old off-duty police officer who worked in the Turkish capital, Ankara's mayor said.
After the cold-blooded attack, the gunman waved his revolver in the air and could be heard shouting the phrase "Allahu Akbar," as well as shouting out: "Don't forget Aleppo, don't forget Syria."
"Whoever took part in this cruelty will pay the price, one by one ... Only death will take me from here," the gunman added.
Turkey's state-owned Anadolu Agency confirmed that the attacker was killed by the security forces after a gun fight.
According to a witness at the scene of the crime, the attacker was acting alone.
"He (the attacker) said that I will not leave this place alive," the witness told Turkey's CNNTurk television.
Despite Karlov's murder over the ongoing war in Syria, Leonid Slutsky, a senior parliamentarian in Russia, said that talks in Moscow about the future of Syria involving Russia, Iran and Turkey will go ahead on Tuesday.
