ALBAWABA - Russian independent news website, Novaya Gazeta, revealed that the Russian police had raided Moscow offices, AFP reported on Thursday
Novaya Gazeta detailed on Thursday that masked security service agents were searching its Moscow office as part of an unspecified probe.
The reason for the operation was unclarified, and the newspaper's lawyers were not being allowed into the building, the Russian news site said in a statement on Telegram.
On the other hand, state news agency RIA quoted law enforcement officials as saying that the probe conducted inside the office was linked to an investigation into the illegal use of personal data.
