SAE Institute, the world’s largest & most renowned Audio Engineering, Animation and Film Institute, is gear-ed up for its exciting stand at this year’s GETEX Show in Abu Dhabi.  The show is scheduled to take place from the 24th to the 26th of November, 2006.
The exhibition stand which is approximately 6m x 3m in area, will serve as a promotional platform for the institute and its offerings.  The exhibition will educate visitors on  the SAE Institute’s revolutionary portfolio of Diploma Programs.  The courses currently offered at SAE include: Multimedia, Audio Engineering, Animation and Film Making.
Mr. Marco Bettelli, Managing Director SAE Asia Pacific and Middle East commented, “We believe that it is essential for us to take part in the GETEX Show, as it is an event specifically designed to gather all learning institutions in one area and offer prospective students the chance to better acquaint themselves with the choices they have on offer, in terms of further studies.”
Mr. Bettelli continued, “The SAE Institute is a one of a kind establishment in the UAE and we look forward to spreading our message amongst potential students in the region throughout the duration of the show.  We have always been keen on promoting the Institute by providing an interactive insight into our school.  This exhibition is no different as we fit an entire Electronic Music Production Studio in our stand which offers visitors the chance to actually experience what we do and teach.”
The SAE Exhibition stand is designed to reflect the institute’s high-tech resources.  On display will be a  fully functional recording studio, featuring a Eurodesk Analog Mixing Console, speakers, Pro Tools, as well as the demonstration of the Logic Music Production Software.
Guests will be offered the chance to receive hands-on practical experience, by mixing down prerecorded song material. They will be able to actually use the mixing console, change tone, volume and panning- to get an overall feel of how it really works.  The exhibition stand aims to provide a very interactive setting enabling visitors to actually  try the equipment used for music production with the staff’s guidance, if necessary.
An animation and film show reel will be displayed to showcase end results of extensive studies at the institute.  The exhibition hopes to provide a more practical and applied insight into the world of Creative Media. Information packs will be readily available at the stand for all those interested in reading more about the SAE Institute.
Mr. Jason de Wilde, College Manager, SAE Institute and organizer of the exhibition said, “The SAE Institute has been very active this year with participation in a number of exhibitions. Our presence at the GETEX Show will hopefully provide prospective students with the ‘real deal’ in terms of what we do.  The latest and most sophisticated equipment fitted in the SAE Institute is a very impressive aspect of studying there- it’s the best in the World- to put it simply. ”
The SAE network in the Middle East continues to grow at a rapid rate with campuses just opened in Kuwait and Amman in 2006, and scheduled to open in Beirut in 2007.  SAE Dubai has just added to it’s facilities a new indoor film shoot room, 10 new AVID editing systems and a high end recording studio.  The SAE Institute is setting high standards in the Middle East.
