Samsung Corby Handset Soon to Launch in Jordan and the Levant

Samsung, the world leader in consumer electronics and digital and telecom solutions, is preparing to launch the recently-announced Corby mobile phone to the Jordanian market and the markets in the Levant.

The Corby is a full-touch handset designed for the trendy social networker in mind. The handset places its users at the heart of the social media revolution, with built-in support for a wide range of social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. Corby’s 2.8-inch QVGA screen delivers an exciting online video experience, allow users to navigate the web, send messages and emails, and watch videos with ease and clarity. The phone is equipped with quad band connectivity and support for EDGE networks, giving users plenty of communication options to stay in touch on the go.

The Corby's trendy design is ideal for the social networker looking for both form and function; it is a complete makeover built specifically for the fashion conscience, with its eye-catching two-tone diagonal contours and its plush, smooth surfaces. The Corby comes with a wide variety of replaceable color covers, allowing users to mix and match according to their changing moods. 

The Corby also comes with a 2 megapixel camera with a wide variety of shooting options and is also equipped with smile detection. Samsung integrated 50MB of internal storage into the device, which is expandable to 8GB via a MicroSD slot, allowing users to conveniently store their music and photos.
