Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., the number one worldwide brand of professional Large Format LCD display products, today introduced its newest Large Format Display (LFD) series at the 2010 Hotel Show in Dubai.
The Samsung SyncMaster LED LFD 460EXn is the first in a series of LFD displays to incorporate LED Back Light Unit (BLU) technology providing up to 40% percent savings on energy consumption than the conventional LFD in a lighter, thinner, and easier to install set-up.
Samsung’s LFDs provide intelligent interactive solutions enabling businesses to create high impact display environments that are tailored to their needs. Posting a market share of 45 percent in the third quarter of 2009, Samsung is a market leader in the LFD display segment. The LFDs also provide a highly effective E-board solution to deliver interactive multimedia education to support the teaching and learning process.

This LED LFD series uses the world’s thinnest, lightest and most energy efficient professional LCD display in the 46 inch and 55 inch screen class. With 70 percent depth saving and 40 percent weight savings over similar models, it is easy and quick to install in almost any environment. Despite these efficiencies this newest model incorporates a high performance PC, boasting a 40 GB hard drive, Windows XP embedded, and high speed network connectivity.
Full HD Image Quality
These models benefit from a 120 Hz panel refresh rate, allowing for faster and smoother scrolling text and digital signage content. The full HD 1080p native resolution provides a crisp moving, scrolling or stationary image with a 5,000:1 contrast ratio.
