Sarah Michelle Gellar is so outraged with her father for walking out on her and her mother Rosellen that she likes to pretend he doesn't exist.
The sexy star of Buffy The Vampire Slayer was just a baby when her dad Arthur left.
Gellar says, "I might have been an immaculate conception. My
father is not in the picture. He does not exist in my life. Just
because you donate sperm does not make you a father. I would never
acknowledge him as my father."
And while the 23-year-old's father is not in her life she admits
her mother is her best friend.
Gellar adds, "she is the most amazing woman I've ever met.
Everything I am I owe to her. We were scraping by and there were
times we didn't even know how to pay the rent. But mum never let me
want emotionally or materially."
And Gellar has made sure she looks after her mother now that she
is a superstar. Gellar adds, "my mom, who gave up her entire life
for me, doesn't have to work any more.
"She can do what she wants because I bought her a house and paid
off the mortgage” – Wenn.
