Saudi King Fahd bin Abdulaziz has issued directives to send relief assistance to the island of Mauritius, which was recently hit by a cyclone.
The relief shipment will consist of such items as tents, blankets and foodstuffs, Head of the Saudi Red Crescent Society, Saleh bin Hamad al-Tuwaijeri, said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) in Riyadh on Tuesday.
