Economic, commercial and technical cooperation was the topic of deliberation at the 7th session of the Saudi-Turkish Joint Committee that opened in Istanbul Wednesday, reported the Saudi press agency (SPA).
The session was co-chaired by Saudi minister of commerce Osamah Jaafar Faqih and Turkish minister of state Mohammed Kajja Jilad.
The meeting highlighted the role of the private sector in boosting comprehensive economic and social development in the two countries within the framework of an open economy, according to SPA.
The agency added that the meeting formed five task committees charged with looking into the items on the session’s agenda -- Albawaba.com
