Contacts are now underway between Yemeni and Saudi authorities to exchange suspects wanted by authorities of the two countries for different cases, 26 September newspaper quoted an official source as saying on Thursday.

The Yemeni weekly said that 13 suspects would be extradited, eight from Saudi Arabia to Yemen and five from Yemen to Saudi Arabia, in accordance with security agreement signed between the two sides earlier this week.

A Yemeni official told Reuters on Thursday that Saudi Arabia will hand over to Yemen three wanted Islamists, including two suspected of involvement in a bombing attack last year on a French supertanker. (Albawaba.com)
