A Saudi was beheaded in Riyadh Friday for the murder of a compatriot, the interior ministry said.
Mohammed bin-Ahmed bin-Moussa had been convicted of shooting fellow Saudi Khaled bin-Mohammed bin-Jorais to death with a pistol in the town of Al-Zolfi, 200 kilometers (124 miles) east of Riyadh.
His execution brings to at least 80 the number of people beheaded in Saudi Arabia since the beginning of the year, according to official communiqués – RIYADH (AFP)
