A Saudi delegation representing Prince Sultan's Relief Committee left on Tuesday for Chad in response to a request made by the Chadian government.
According to the official Saudi News Agency (SPA), the delegation includes a number of agricultural experts who will study the problems facing palm trees in Faya region in the African country.
Palm trees are the most common form of cultivation in Saudi Arabia. The kingdom has aided Arab and world countries stricken by famine with dates, which are scientifically proven to have all the necessary nutritional elements. (Albawaba.com)
