SDF leaves Aleppo after agreement with Syrian army

ALBAWABA - The leader of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, announced reaching an agreement with the Syrian government forces, with international mediation, according to Syrian state-run Ekhbariya TV said on Sunday.

The deal includes ending fighting, securing the evacuation of the dead and wounded, in addition to the trapped civilians and fighters from the Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods towards northern and eastern Syria. 

Meanwhile, a correspondent for "Al-Araby Al-Jadeed" reported that about 400 fighters left Aleppo towards areas controlled by the "SDF" in eastern Syria.

Fighting between Syrian government forces and Kurdish-led SDF fighters in northern Aleppo neighbourhoods like Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh began on Jan. 6.
