Seven Guards Killed in Crash on Yemen-Oman Border

Two armored vehicles loaded with arms collided Tuesday, killing seven Yemeni border guards close to the frontier with Oman, reported AFP. 

Tuesday's crash just a kilometer from the Shahn border post ignited a huge fire in which seven of the eight men on board died, said the agency, adding that the eighth man escaped unharmed. 

Meanwhile, the Yemeni official news agency (SABA) reported that two persons were killed and five others were seriously injured in a road accident on the Sanaa-Taiz main road.  

An official said that among the victims was an eight-year-old child – Albawaba.com
