Seven soldiers, three of them officers, were killed as a Saudi army helicopter crashed Sunday in a pre-dawn accident, the defense ministry announced.
It said the helicopter, involved in a rescue operation for victims of flooding from heavy rains, crashed at Al-Qassim airport, 400 kilometers (250 miles) north of the Saudi capital.
All three officers on board as well as the four-man crew were killed – RIYADH (AFP)
