Several Reported Killed in Milan Plane Accident

Several people were killed early Monday when a plane belonging to Scandinavian carrier SAS was in an accident involving another plane at Milan-Linate airport in northern Italy, news channel RAI and ANSA news agency reported. 

Authorities at the airport were unable to provide AFP with any immediate details on the reported crash. 

Initial reports said that an SAS plane was preparing for takeoff when it made a sudden maneuver to avoid a small plane, hitting an airport building before bursting into flames -- ROME (AFP)
