Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will deliver a speech at a pro-Israeli rally scheduled for September 23, along with Israeli Cabinet Minister Natan Sharansky, reported New York Post.
Tens of thousands of people will flock to Manhattan in New York from around the states later this month for a massive rally in support of Israel, organizers were quoted by the paper as saying Sunday.
"I hope it will become the most important march or demonstration in the history of the Jewish community in America," said Elie Wiesel, an honorary co-chairman of the rally scheduled for Sept. 23.
The rally, organized by United Jewish Communities, will take place on Second Avenue at 47th Street at 1 p.m. – Albawaba.com
