Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Dubai's crown prince, met with US Secretary of the Navy Gordon R. England on Wednesday to review bilateral ties and exchange views on the current situation in the region.
Sheikh Mohammad, who is also the UAE's defense minister, discussed with the American official the latest moves in the US-led anti-terror campaign.
England said in an official statement that he and Sheikh Mohammad dicussed ways of strengthening co-operation between the two countries, the Emirates’ official news agency (WAM) reported.
The visiting guest, who was also accompanied by US Navy Commader Admiral Charles Moore, said that “Sheikh Mohammad's views were identical with that of the US on fighting terrorism” – Albawaba.com
