Ras Al Khaimah, April 16: H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, son of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, inaugurated the Al Hamra Mall in Ras Al Khaimah here Thursday evening.
Billed as the biggest shopping mall in the Northern Emirates, Al Hamra Mall houses over 200 retail outlets apart from food court offering a diverse range of international cuisine and children’s play area. Al Hamra Mall is set amid the iconic Al Hamra Village in Ras Al Khaimah and offers a perfect blend of shopping, entertainment, dining and recreational options.
Sprawling over 300,000 square feet spread over two floors, the mall brings many top of the line international brands and retailers for the first time to the emirate. The Al Hamra Mall involves an investment of AED 265 million.

He said that 95 percent of the shopping mall has been leased out and added that the mall has lined up a range of festivities and promotions as part of its official launch, including Brazilian Samba carnival for the first time in the UAE and shop and win campaigns with exciting prizes including Yamaha speed boat, round the world airline tickets for two and 100 gram gold bars.
Al Hamra Mall is the first shopping mall in Ras Al Khaimah's booming area of Al Jazeera Al Hamra, which is home to RAK Ceramics, the world's largest ceramic manufacturer, the Free Zone of RAK Investment Authority, one of the fastest-growing free zones in the Middle East, and Rakeen, one of the region's most dynamic property developers, with its iconic landmark developments Al Marjan Island, the first man-made island in Ras Al Khaimah.
