Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defense Minister General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received in Dubai Dr. Volker Young, senior member of the executive committee of Siemens Company and chairman of operations in Middle East, Africa and Europe.
In the course of the meeting, which was attended by Director General of the Dubai Free Zone for Technology, Media and e-commerce Mohammed Al Gergawi, Sheikh Mohammed discussed with Young aspects of cooperation between Dubai Internet City and Siemens Company, which is considered pioneer in the field of energy, data and communications, according to Gulf News.
After discussing the content of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the Dubai Internet City and Siemens Company, Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the shifting of the regional office of the world known German company to Dubai, considering the move as one of the supporting elements of enhancing confidence in Dubai as a center for international business.
