The organizers of the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics award announced today that registration to enter the competition will continue to be accepted until the 31st of January 2010.
Dr. Khalil Abel, who leads the management of the event stated that applications from candidates across the Arab World were welcome and have to be sent to the organizing committee before January 31st through the award’s official website: www.alsabahaward.org.
The ‘Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award’ is considered to be the richest informatics competition in the Arab world with prizes amounting to US $370,000 (100,000 Kuwaiti Dinars). Winners will be honored and recognized during an award ceremony to be held under the patronage of Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al Jabir Al Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait.
