Sheikh Zayed Expresses Pride in UAE People

President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan attended Thursday night, for the third consecutive night, a cultural show organised at the Abu Dhabi Corniche and the Breakwaters by the Emirates Heritage Club, EHC. The show, which was part of the activities being organised by the EHC to mark the 30th UAE's National Day and the Eid Al Fitr, was attended by Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, who is also the chairman of the EHC. 

 

Gulf News reported that on Wednesday, Sheikh Zayed attended the cultural show held at the Abu Dhabi corniche and the breakwaters. In a short statement, Sheikh Zayed expressed pride in his people. In addition, he expressed his commitment to achieve for his people their hopes and ambitions. "I feel comfortable only when I see my people happy and comfortable," he said adding, "I am very committed to their welfare because I am one of them." The President said, "I thank God for making the mission of serving our people a success, and also for permitting us to conduct this mission in a manner that brought prosperity to our citizens. It is the prosperity of our people that comes on top of our priorities". (Albawaba.com)
