ALBAWABA - One person was killed, and six others were injured in a shooting incident in central Israel, local media confirmed on Sunday.
The shooting attack took place in the Sharon region, central Israel. Initial reports said four were injured, but Israeli media said that the injuries rose to six people.
The Israeli army and Israel Police arrested one of the attackers, and a manhunt is underway to catch the second, who escaped into Tsur Yitshak.
"We received reports at MDA’s 101 Emergency Dispatch Center regarding several casualties at different scenes, including reports of people injured in a shooting. At the scene at a gas station near Kokhav Yair, we began providing medical treatment to a man approximately 50 years old who was in serious condition, and to a man approximately 30 years old who was in moderate condition," Magen David Adom Paramedic Lior Zilberberg announced.
The paramedic continued, "At another scene in Tzur Yitzhak, we provided medical treatment to a man approximately 30 years old who was injured in his hand. At an additional scene on Route 5533, we treated another man in critical condition, as well as an additional casualty who was evacuated in serious condition. We continue to provide medical treatment at the various scenes."
