sico develops its investment professionals
Securities & Investment Company (SICO), the Bahrain based regionally focused investment bank, today announced that four of its employees have successfully passed their Qualification Examination for General Securities Registered Representatives, also known as Series 7. The four employees will join SICO’s existing internationally qualified investment professionals.
A SICO representative said, “Investing in our people is one of our key strategies to ensure that SICO continues to offer the best investment advice to its clients. We are delighted that our colleagues have achieved this important professional goal as the Series 7 Examination is the global standard for investment professionals. As Bahrain builds upon its position as a knowledge-driven, financial services centre, SICO will continue to develop and invest in its human capital to maintain its lead in an increasingly competitive market place.”
The Series 7 Examination ensures that successful candidates are qualified to offer investment advice on general securities. The qualification is offered by the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), a leading professional training institute based in Bahrain.
Securities & Investment Company is a securities house offering a selective range of investment banking services, including asset management, brokerage, market-making and corporate finance, on a regional basis and with a particular emphasis on Bahrain. SICO was incorporated in Bahrain in 1995 and holds an investment-banking license from the Central Bank of Bahrain.
