Sisi pardons 165 jailed youths for Ramadan

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi has pardoned 165 detained youth to mark the Islamic holy month of Ramadan that starts tomorrow, Al-Ahram Arabic website reported on Wednesday.

The names of those who have been pardoned are yet to be announced.

Egyptian presidents have traditionally pardoned groups of prisoners on national and religious holidays.
