Six people have been killed and three are reported missing in violent storms which have caused flooding in the Tebessa region, some 630 kilometers east of the capital Algiers, the daily Sawt Al-Ahrar reported Saturday.
The latest figure took the overall toll to fifteen dead in the torrential rains, which also hit Batna and Oum el-Bouaghi in the east of Algeria in the past couple of days, according to press reports.
The authorities have not released an official statement on the flooding or number of victims. (Albawaba.com)
