Palestinian gunners fired three mortar bombs across the Gaza Strip's border on Friday night, injuring six Israeli troops, the army said. According to Reuters, the Popular Resistance Committees militant group claimed the attack on Nahal Oz military base.
Earlier, Hamas said two of its members were hurt in an Israeli air strike.
According to the Israeli military, Palestinians fired a total of 11 mortars at southern Israel from Gaza on Friday. Three of them landed at the base, the military said.
