ADAOX, the regional business development centre of ESET NOD32 Antivirus, today announced that their distributor in Egypt, Softline International, held a special conference and training session exclusively for ESET's customers in Egypt. The event, which took place on July 19th, 2010 at Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel, included workshops, product presentations and demonstrations on ESET's world-class solutions, ESET Smart Security and ESET NOD32 by senior technical professionals from ESET and ADAOX.

Speaking on the event, Mr. Mohamed Gamal El Hazik, Softline International Regional Director, said, "ESET is a leader in proactive protection from known and unknown threats and ESET NOD32 antivirus software is today the fastest and the lightest antivirus product available in the market. We organised an exclusive workshop for our customers in Egypt to demonstrate the features of these award-winning security solutions. We also held training session for IT Managers on how to use these solutions effectively to safeguard their data from threats. We were happy to see decision makers and IT Managers of enterprises and SMBs attending this event."

ESET NOD32 and ESET Smart Security have gained traction as the leading anti-virus and security suite respectively in the regional market. ESET Smart Security is an integrated security solution, which is ideal for consumers and small-to-medium-sized businesses. It includes antivirus, antispyware, antispam and firewall features built on the advanced heuristic ThreatSense detection system and the ESET NOD32 scanning engine.

ESET's security solutions are ideal for the small-to-medium size business environment. By incorporating ESET's Remote Administrator, both ESET Smart Security and the new version of ESET NOD32 Antivirus can be deployed and managed remotely from a central location.

"Egypt is a very important market for ESET, which has gained considerable market share in the antivirus market segment in the last few months. We are happy the event, which was organised by Softline for ESET's customers was a huge success. We plan to hold more such events with Softline in the near future," said Mr. Neo Neophytou, MD of ADAOX, ESET's Regional Business Development and Support Center.
