Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar arrived Tuesday on a two-day visit to Mauritania for talks centering on cooperation, the Mediterranean dialogue and the Western Sahara, it was announced here.
Aznar, who flew in from Algeria, was welcomed at the airport by Mauritanian President Moaweya Weld Taye.
Cooperation on fishing will feature high during the visit by Aznar, who will meet businessmen and officials concerned with this key sector of Mauritania's economy - NAWAKSHUT (AFP)
